a5c7b9f00b Luke Skywalker embarks on a mission to find and destroy an Imperial base on Naboo, but is relentlessly chased by a group of fanatic girls, who think of hima celebrity for destroying the Death Star. Meanwhile, Darth Vader engages a "sibling" rivalry with Darth Maul, in order to prove he's the best Sith Lord to Emperor Palpatine. One doesn't sit down to watch a direct-to-DVD Star Wars themed animated Lego movie expecting Toy Story. However, is it too much to expect the makers to have at least tried to tell an actual story?

On the plus side, the animation here is quite nice, perfectly capturing the spirit of the actual Lego toys on which it's based, and it was a pleasant surprise to hear a few actual Star Wars actors providing the voices for their characters. But the story—suchit is—feels like nothing more than an empty vessel to hold a series of lame, half-hearted gags.

I have a young niece and nephew and I know for a fact that there's a lot of very clever children's entertainment out there right now. Sadly, this isn't it. When I watched this for the first time I was literally crying with laughter it is the funniest Lego Short in history! The good: Its really funny and a great family film with outstanding jokes and a lovely story you will enjoy and its loving. The Bad: If you were thinking its was a big movie where you eat popcorn with the family but its not its on for 20 minutes and the funniest joke in the film that made me cry gets a bit old so you have to watch it again in about a a week or two so you can have a laugh again. Overall its a Good fun movie but it could of been better if it was a fun full movie so you can have a laugh for about 1 hour, its 7/10 it was going to be 8/10 but I thought it was too much
